Mosgortrans and MegaFon: new technologies for Moscow transport

At the end of the last week Moscow saw the festive opening of Ledovy dvorets (Ice palace) on Khodinskoye pole. Within the frameworks of the event experimental system of municipal transport traffic monitoring inculcated by Mosgortrans, was demonstrated. Data transfer in the system is provided via MegaFon-Moscow mobile network by means of wireless GPRS/EDGE technology.

August: bonuses’ season for all MegaFon subscribers

By the beginning of the month all LITE users had been automatically included into MegaFon-Bonus program and they will be able to check and use their bonuses in a weak. This week the number of MegaFon-Moscow subscribers has exceeded 3.500.000. Active growth of subscriber base is explained by constant communication quality improvement and deepening interest of Muscovites in new tariffs of MegaFon, primarily to “Mobilny” one. It took only a week since appearance of the offer to become “Mobilny” a leader of sales in Moscow and Moscow region.
