Over 700 base stations in Moscow and Moscow region

MegaFon goes on development of 3G network infrastructure. In December new base stations were constructed to provide the most up-to-date mobile services to MegaFon subscribers.
In Moscow new 3G objects operate in the area of Reв square, on the territory of Grand Sports Arena of Luzhniki Olympic Complex, IKEA Belaya Dacha, international airportы “Sheremetyevo” and “Domodedovo” as well as in many other areas. Besides, today 3G services are available for MegaFon subscribers in Moscow region towns such as Odintsovo, Volokolamsk, Kolomna, Balashikha and Shatura.
Within 3G coverage area mobiles and modems are automatically switched to the mode of rapid data transfer that allows subscribers to use Internet services of premium quality. They include mobile access to Internet, e-mail, video calls and other services. Tariffs in 3G remains the same as in GSM one.
As of the end of December, there are over 700 base stations of 3G mobile network in Moscow and Moscow region.
